In my South Florida healing practice, energy work encompasses various practices such as Reiki, chakra balancing, and Limpia. I utilize these healing modalities in my practice because they are ancient and powerful! These methods aim to restore the natural flow of energy in the body, paving the way for deeper healing experiences. Using Reiki as an example, there are studies that show individuals who try Reiki for general anxiety, improved mood, and better sleep felt a significant decrease in symptoms.
But because the energy I work with does not know the boundaries of physical or even mental space, my practice is not limited to South Florida. I am always happy to meet a client in a distance healing session, too. Distance does not make a difference! This is simply the nature of shamanic work.

The Shamanic Journey
Central to shamanic healing is the journey. This process involves entering a meditative state, typically induced by rhythmic drumming, chanting, or special sound instruments.
The shaman will enter a state of inner peace and travel to the cosmos to receive information on behalf of the client. This information is then passed down to the client. And this is why the shamanic meditative state is so important: the client must also find peace in this healing field, so that they too have the ability to access the energy and information brought before them by the Shaman. They are more ready to receive if they tune into the divine and are able to silence the "monkey mind" of fear, doubt, and other dark mental states.
And so, with the right tools and the support of the healing environment, this empowers the client to use the guidance they receive to unlock their own deep and precious ability to heal themselves.

Choose a quiet place for reflection, like journaling or simply relaxing, and let the healing settle in you. Drink plenty of water and practice good self-care. Then be sure to follow up with any questions, concerns, and successes. Remember that healing continues beyond the session! Finally, embrace change and engage in personal practices that reinforce insights gained during your experience.
