My name is Puma Pilla, "little jaguar" in Quechua, because I have felt him walking by my side since I was very young.

I first felt my Jaguar as a little girl facing adversity at school. He has brought me fearlessness, agility, and strength ever since. I channel him in my most difficult moments, and even in the gym as I challenge myself.

In many cultures he is revered as a warrior who resides in the underworld as a great protector. As a shamanic guide and helper, Jaguar walks between worlds. He is a great protector and eater of dense energy (hucha).

Mayan Puma arte, a sacred object rests on my colorful Mesa, with his protective teeth bared

I received this Mayan jaguar arte during a trip to Arizona; he occupies a revered place on my Mesa and in my heart.
